Erasmus4Democracy

The project aims to strengthen adult civic engagement and democratic participation through three training mobilities designed to foster the exchange of best practices among European organizations. The activities involve trainers and Novara Europa staff members in different yet complementary paths: an intensive course in Iceland dedicated to adult education, democracy, human rights, and intercultural communication; a job shadowing in Sweden to closely observe the work being done in the field of democracy and human rights; and a group mobility to Athens to participate in the Athens Democracy Forum 2025.

The project's objectives are to improve the skills needed to engage citizens in democratic issues, develop effective intercultural communication strategies, and strengthen staff's organizational and transnational capabilities. The experiences will enhance the participants' profiles and strengthen the association's approach to promoting active and informed citizenship.
